This PCA Oxygenating Facial is a three-step system that increases oxygenation and circulation in the skin, rejuvenating sluggish, stressed, or acne-affected skin as it draws oxygen to the skin’s surface, causing it to glow. Moisture molecules interact with the tissues, causing a gentle plumping of the skin. The treatment is ideal for people with sensitive skin, dehydrated, aging skin, or dry skin. Overall, it contains an abundance of antioxidants as well as B vitamin content.
Your facial begins with Dermaplaning, which gently removes the outer layer of dead skin cells and peach fuzz. Your skin is left smooth and more readily able to absorb products. Following the Dermaplaning, the Hydrafacial is followed by a light Vortex-Fusion chemical peel. This light chemical peel prepares the skin for optimal extractions, again using the Vortex-Fusion vacuum while incorporating key ingredients such as Willow Bark and Honey Extract to minimize breakouts and minimize the appearance of pore size. Your skin will be nourished with powerful peptides, antioxidants, and hyaluronic acid in the final step to firm, moisturize, tone, and protect your skin.

The skin begins to peel within two to four days. A lighter peel may not peel at all. Although the skin doesn’t peel, it continues to exfoliate at an accelerated rate, resulting in a brighter, smoother complexion. The results are usually visible seven days after the peel.
The recovery time varies depending on the strength and type of chemical peel used. Following a chemical peel, you may experience tightness or sunburn-like redness. With lighter peels, redness may last just a few hours, but deeper peels may take longer to heal.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women and patients who have taken Accutane within the last year should avoid chemical peels.
After a peel, you should not exercise strenuously as the skin may be irritated from perspiration.
Your home care should be very gentle, not using any vitamin C products, retinoids, or scrubs for a week. It is important not to force or help your skin peel faster. To avoid rashes or scarring, a mild moisturizer is best to keep your skin calm.
