Laser Treatments

Laser treatment therapies utilize focused light and specific wavelengths to treat various conditions. These therapies make use of concentrated laser light waves to promote healing. Lasers target a small area with great precision, leaving surrounding tissue unharmed. The advantage of laser therapy is that there is less pain, swelling, recovery time, and scarring compared to traditional surgery. They are incredibly versatile and extremely effective in treating everything from acne to thinning skin. Call MD Beauty Spa in Scottsdale, AZ, today to schedule a laser treatment consultation.

Laser Hair Removal

A professional treatment that achieves 80% permanent hair reduction. The Alma laser system is the newest technology, is much more comfortable, and produces better results than earlier systems. Areas most commonly treated are the face, underarms, abdomen, bikini, legs, and back.

Most patients will have minimal redness and tenderness for a short time after treatment. This usually lasts a day and does not interfere with daily activities. Six to eight treatments are needed for best results. The most common areas for Laser Hair Removal include:

Photofacial/IPL

This professional treatment uses the Alma DYE VL advanced intense pulsed light (IPL) system that is safe enough for use in all areas of the body and can successfully treat many common conditions. The handpiece emits pulses of light that target the spots or vessels that need correction and give the skin a rejuvenated and glowing look. This treatment can be done on most skin types and on most areas of the body.

It greatly improves your skin’s look, feel, and texture and stimulates collagen. Pores and fine lines will be minimized and lessened because of collagen stimulation. A series of five treatments is recommended for the best results. This regimen includes microdermabrasion which greatly compliments Photofacial treatments.

ClearLift Laser

ClearLift reconstructs the skin’s interior layers, leaving the epidermis intact and allowing healing to begin from within. Patients often require three to five treatments for optimal results, although visible improvement can be seen after a single treatment.

Pixel RF Fractional Laser

Pixel is a revolutionary, FDA-approved treatment designed to create younger, more radiant skin by addressing sun damage, acne scars, and other texture issues.

When compared to more aggressive treatments, such as traditional laser skin resurfacing, dermabrasion, and chemical peels, Pixel offers a great balance. It is extremely effective in resurfacing the skin and treating a wide range of imperfections, but it’s much gentler than other options and associated with less downtime.

RF Skin Tightening

The Alma fractional radio frequency is our newest treatment, and it produces phenomenal results! This is a revolutionary treatment for non-ablative skin resurfacing and tightening with high efficacy and no downtime. The Fractional laser penetrates deeper than other devices (up to 1mm), reaching the dermis. This approach stimulates quick healing with no lasting redness. The RF Skin Tightening treatment is suitable for both the face and body.

This is excellent for deep lines and wrinkles and pitted scarring. Other skin resurfacing devices such as co2 lasers are very ablative and remove the epidermis as well as some of the dermis. Good results are seen in the long run; however, there is a risk of infection for several weeks while the skin is healing. You will use a collagen gel to boost collagen production during the treatments. When complete, the skin looks tighter and brighter, and rejuvenated!

CO2 Laser

Long-term sun exposure can cause premature wrinkles, dyschromias (brown spots), and irregular skin texture. Resurfacing the skin with fractionated CO2 lasers can prevent aging and sun damage while rejuvenating the skin. By targeting the damaged areas, the treatment will produce healthier, younger-looking skin. A fractionated CO2 laser resurfacing treatment is considered one of the most effective ways to rejuvenate the skin. Skin tightness and texture can be improved, as well as wrinkles and pigment abnormalities reduced. The procedure usually requires a topical anesthetic, although some patients may prefer light sedation. Laser treatments are generally performed in our office and take no more than 30 minutes to perform. However, this may vary based on the degree of treatment required. All parts of the body can be resurfaced using the CO2 laser, and it can help to:
